I was lucky enough to be gifted an ARC of this novel, the start to a new series and one that I found an enthralling read. The heroine is Pandora Scott. She finally ran away from her home four years ago, leaving behind the titans with whom she’d never really felt she fit in with. The only person she had really related to there was her ex-boyfriend, Jax, a tracker who has now found her again. She’s changed dramatically since she left, she’s now a vampire who has upset many very powerful vampires as she used her ability to disappear and become one with the shadows to enable her to steal some of their priceless artefacts before releasing their captives . . . . Now, fate is catching up with her. Can she keep herself safe? Why has Jax come for her now? Can she protect him from her vampire enemies?This is a fast paced, action packed paranormal adventure featuring vampires, conduits and titans. Apparently it is a spin off from an earlier series but I can vouch that you don’t need to have read that series to enjoy this novel. Having said that, I may well look it up once I’ve lowered my tbr pile! If you enjoy reading about people with very different paranormal skills involved good v evil battles with hidden agendas, like me you’ll also probably love this story, too!

I love Pandoras story, and I like Jax a little. Love all of the characters and their abilities. I strongly recommend this book....you won't be sorry.
This is a very good book. Lots of action, mystery, vampires and other things. Good story line and great characters. So grab your copy and enjoy reading.
While you don't need to have read any of the Midnight Fire books to enjoy this, seeing familiar characters and being familiar with this world makes this story easier to understand. Fast paced, lots of action, and mystery and a hybrid vampire-titan.
I went into this book with the expectations of just another vamp book. Well, I got a surprise. You could have removed the vamp part of the story and still had an excellent book. The action is very appealing and her heartbreak at the betrayals is very moving. Only having read the 1st book leaves me with a strong dislike for the Titans but this may change in the coming books. I can't wait to read the next one.
After reading the reviews, I decided to buy a copy and read it for myself,and I'm glad I did. I don't want to go into a lot of detail because I don't want to spoil it for any one else. Pandora is kick ass and I don't blame her if she never trusted another person especially after what Jax does to her. I love the cover of the book I think it's a good fit for the story and I also really like the title name which I think fits perfectly also. I liked all the characters, I'm a sucker for Vampires,lol it had just the right amount of action mystery and suspense! I look forward to reading book two
OMG. This Book.
Don’t get me wrong, I’ve read lots of books lately that I just fell in love with, but this book….it’s more than love it’s an obsession. I loved just about everything in this book. The characters are intriguing and Pandora is one tough cookie that I can’t help but root for her. And Jax… well I really hope he steps up his game in the next book, ‘cause I want to love him, but he hurt Pandora and that doesn’t fly with me. Really, I think her and I both were crying through that ending!
Now on to the action! Non-stop and pulse pounding, I was on the end of my seat whenever I sat down and read. Heck, I even missed my T.V. show and that doesn’t even come on again for a repeat tonight. But trust me, it was well worth it. If you love young adult paranormal romance with a healthy dose of mystery then I would highly recommend this! You’ll get your daily fill of vampires and god like titans who kick a lot of butt, but not as much as Pandora.
Now, on to the next!
Frost is the first book in the Midnight Ice series. It is also a spinoff from the Midnight Fire series, but a total standalone.

Pandora is a heroine that is betrayed by everyone. I am really interested in what is going to happen to Pandora. Cliffhanger alert, but I will forgive it because I really want to know what happens to her.

Jax is manipulative bastard, it would have been kinder to simply kill her than what he did to her. I think I have a few guesses on what is going on with her, Jax, and the titan society she grew up in, but that is no excuse for what her parents and everyone that should've helped her have done to her . The titans or false heroes as I'd like to say. How the titans treat her and what Jax ultimately does to her is simply put evil.
I'd be surprised if Pandora ever trusts anyone again. Jax can rationalize all he wants, but he doesn't love her. If he did he wouldn't have done what he did to her at the end. In fact I hope Pandora brings down their society because they don't deserve their powers for all of the abuse they did to her.
